Role & responsibilities
Job Purpose: The Administrative Officer/ Assistant Manager - Operations is responsible for maintenance of day to-day activities such as administrative, operational, procurement & storage, Customer related services and Accounting in order to meet hospital standards. He is also responsible to have all civil, clinical & non-clinical licenses and he shall support Centre Head in achieving targets set for the individual hospital.
PLANNING: Works with Centre Head, Support office team and Medical Director of the hospital to identify Administrative & Operational issues, implementation of the changes required, its tracking and thereby improve the performance of the Hospital. Conduct daily routine walk through and meeting with all employees of different departments.
COUNSELLING: Counsels patients & community (public & society) related issues, TPA Issues related to claim processing, accuracy in patients information during registration, billing & discharge process.
DAILY ROUNDS: He shall conduct daily rounds twice a day of the wards and all other departments. Collects the relevant information and take necessary action keeping the HO informed from time to time. Shall follow House-keeping, Security & Maintenance of Clinical & Non-clinical equipment.
TRAINING: MAINTENANCE WORK: Responsible for ensuring maintenance of the all assets, equipment and maintenance of infrastructure facilities. He shall ensure the works are being completed as per the schedule.
COORDINATION: Coordinates with various departments within the hospital and with the Support Office.
LEGAL/PERMISSIONS: Responsible for obtaining certificates, permissions, licenses etc. Acts as a Liasoning officer with government or other agencies for empanelments as per the instructions from the Support Office(S.O) and Centre Head from time to time.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Knowledge of local languages.
2. Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology (Including Computer skill).
3. Experience in supervising, project and team activities. Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports.
4. Willingness to work at a flexible schedule.
5. Occasionally need to extend working hours or may require to come back to office after working hours as per the requirement.
6. MHA (Master in Hospital Administration)/BAMS/BHMS
7. Capable to handle all hospital administrative functions.
