Designation/Grade Engineer (G-05, 06, 07)

Qualifications BE (IC/EC/Mechatronics or equivalent) 

Experience: 8-12 Years Preference: Candidates from Blow Moulding and Injection Moulding is preferred. 

Purpose of the role:

The main function is to work for design and development of Machine Software for Indian and Global Projects a part of the software design team. 

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities Software Development:

Plan and Develop the Software for New Product and New Features as per demand from market, internal and external customers, competitor product analysis and internal system improvements.

Maintain, improve, and upgrade the features of existing software of various machines for improving the machine performance and value addition.

Ensure software standardization to reduce variations wherever possible. Work towards improving machine & human safety. 

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

Coordinate with field Service, Aftermarket, Testing, Sales, and Validation departments as well as Customers for troubleshooting and product upgrades.

Global Support: Provide on-shore and off-shore support on Global projects for existing machines and new products. Identify and work on Cost reduction & Product improvement areas and take initiatives for improving Product Reliability.

Maintain records as per ISO and other applicable standards.

key Knowledge, Skill, and Competencies:

Good knowledge of various PLCs (preferably B&R) & excellent command over PLC & HMI Programming

Good understanding of Servo Technology, Device interfacing and various Communication Protocols.

Should be a good team player, have good time management skills and should be able to work on time-bound projects.
