Job description

Scalent Solutions is hiring for a client which is, a leader in electric vehicle re-commerce and financing, is looking for a Territory Sales Incharge (TSI) to expand our dealer network in the battery and e-rickshaw trade. The role involves identifying and onboarding reliable dealers who will operate on a cash-and-carry model. The TSI will also support dealers in growing their business by providing access to quality batteries, chargers, and financing solutions for e-rickshaw drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealer Identification & Onboarding:
  • Identify and profile potential dealers in the battery and e-rickshaw trade within the assigned territory.
  • Approach and onboard dealers who align with the company's vision and business model.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Collect and verify all required documentation from dealers.
  • Ensure dealers complete the onboarding process, including payment of the sign-up fee.
  • Business Development Support:
  • Assist dealers in increasing their sales by providing reliable Lithium-ion batteries and chargers.
  • Collaborate with the financing team to offer seamless financing solutions for e-rickshaw drivers via dealer points.
  • Dealer Profiling & Relationship Management:
  • Analyze and categorize dealers based on their business potential, creditworthiness, and market reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting:
  • Achieve sales (dealer development and onboarding) targets by driving the cash-and-carry business model.
  • Provide regular reports on dealer performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably in business or marketing).
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, dealer management, or similar roles.
  • Prior experience in the battery or e-rickshaw industry is a strong advantage.

Skills Required:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify and assess the potential of dealers.
  • Proficiency in documentation and compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of EV batteries and charging solutions.
