Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled Loan Operations Executive to oversee and streamline the loan disbursement process.
This role will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in loan processing, KYC verification, reconciliations, and disbursement activities.
The ideal candidate will manage a team, handle escalations, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal results.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Disbursement Management:
Oversee loan disbursements, including approvals from management and internal teams.
Ensure all documentation is accurate before disbursement.
Manage the loan cancellation process when necessary.
KYC Process Oversight:
Own the loan KYC process, ensuring maximum efficiency in terms of output and turnaround time (TAT).
Reconciliations & Transfers:
Reconcile data between the system and bank transfers.
Handle interbank transfers and bank transfers for loan disbursements from respective accounts.
Loan Document & Escalation Handling:
Responsible for checking loan documents and handling escalations related to loan disbursements.
Tech Enhancement & Process Improvement:
Collaborate with the tech team to enhance loan processing systems and workflows.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
MIS Reporting & Tracker Maintenance:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Maintain various trackers for management updates and ensure they are kept up-to-date.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate from a reputed college or university.
MBA/CA/Finance degree is preferred.
1 to 2 years of experience in Financial Services, NBFC, or Banking sectors, specifically in loan operations or similar roles.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of loan processes, especially in a high-velocity environment.
- Experience with compliance and process documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment with attention to deadlines and details.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and the capacity to manage complex client situations.
- Strong networking and communication skills.
