Role Overview

Person should have good working experience on performance testing using API / UI, scripting & data setup. Should be able to find bottlenecks and giving inputs for enhancing performance and reliability of the product.

The candidate should have

1. Expertise in Performance Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.

2. Expertise in Performance Testing tools using JMeter / Load Runner.

3. Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.

4. Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection etc. to verify the performance of the applications.

5. Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis. Prepare detail status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues.

6. Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Performance Test Scripts for applications based on Requirements

2. Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes

3. Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities

4. Automate and Run and manage performance test

5. Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports

6. Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance

Technical Skills

1. Good Working hands on experience in Java, SQL , JMeter

2. Knowledge of any scripting language: Shell/Perl/Python/JavaScript

3. Added advantage of knowledge on cloud technology AWS/GCP/Azure.
