Roles & Responsibilities

The development of architectural designs

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations
• Leading project teams and coordinating with other departments
• Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Mentoring junior architects and assisting in their professional development

Project Management

Initiating Projects

• Review project briefs and set initial project objectives.
• Organize a kick-off meeting with the project team to discuss requirements.

Planning Stage

• Develop a comprehensive project plan detailing timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before proceeding.

Execution Phase

• Monitor the progress of projects against the project plan.
• Adjust project plans as necessary to account for unforeseen circumstances.

Closure

• Upon project completion, ensure all documentation is finalized and archived.
• Conduct a project debrief with the team to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

• Conceptual Design
• Create and present conceptual designs to clients for approval.
• Iterate on design concepts based on feedback received.

Detailed Design

• Oversee the production of detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate all systems into the design.

Design Review

• Regularly review design documents for quality assurance.
• Address any issues or changes that arise during the design phase.

Client Interaction

Meetings

• Schedule regular meetings with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings, ensuring that all information is clear and accurate.

Communication
