Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled Application Support Engineers to join our team and work under the guidance of the Application Support Lead. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in application support, database management, and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for monitoring application performance, resolving issues, and assisting with database queries and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Application Monitoring: Monitor application performance and respond to alerts, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application issues, working closely with the Application Support Lead and other team members to ensure timely resolution.
Database Management: Assist in writing and optimizing SQL queries for MS SQL and PostgreSQL, focusing on performance and indexing.
Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of support documentation, including troubleshooting guides and RCA documents.
Collaboration: Work with the Application Support Lead and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
User Support: Provide technical support to users, addressing their inquiries and assisting them with application-related issues.
Deployment Support: Assist in application deployments using Docker, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in application support, database management, or a related field.
Proficiency in MS SQL and PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Familiarity with Docker for application deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
