Title               :          Senior Engineer - NPD

Qualification   :          BE or Diploma ECE/EEE/EIE

Experience     :          4– 8 years

CTC                 :          3.5 – 5.5 LPA

Reporting To   :          Operations Manager / Plant Head

Location         :          Coimbatore

We are looking for an energetic Senior Engineer – NPD to develop and promote new products. Senior Engineer has to support core team to meet customer’s requirement in line with technical requirements. Need to focus on Electronic Manufacturing Services within cluster of Industrial and Medical / Railways and Automotive/ Defence and Aerospace sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities

ü Perform market research to understand customer requirements for new product/project development.

ü Identify the needs of the customers and integrate the process through analysing the feasibility and capability.

ü Able to do time study to understand the process requirements.

ü Study and understanding the BOM and identify the feasibility to start the projects.

ü Prepare process flow chart and other support activities to complete entire process cycle.

ü Define the technology that we have to adopt to meet product requirements.

ü Identify and make a record of required technical components/parts along with technical specifications.

ü Construct the tooling, Jigs & Fixtures as required to complete the procedure.

ü Performing various inspection of IPC-A 610H standards in line with product quality.

ü Ensure proto type product to be approved by the customers as per the requirements.

ü Arrange to record necessary documentation in order to meet internal and external clients.

Requirements and skills

ü Good understanding of PCBA Industry is required (preferably prior experience in PCBA/ EMS / Semiconductor Industry).

ü Proven working experience as in New Product Development.

ü Strong knowledge in Gerber Viewer software.

ü Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
