Responsibilities of the Candidate:
• Will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of MD and D searches through their own efforts
• An SME in their given business area (or willing to learn) with a thorough understanding of roles and organizational structure within their client business and at competitor target organizations
• Tactically delivers on searches through channels of:
• External direct hiring
• External use of agency
• Internal mobility (in Partnership with Exec Hiring Services team)
• Full lifecycle recruitment including:
• Client briefing and understanding the role
• Initial targeting and selection (in partnership with Research team) to build a longlist of candidates
• Pre-screening of longlisted candidates to build a shortlist which is presented to the client
• Management of interviews (in partnership with Exec Hiring Services) and feedback loop between client, interview panel and candidate
• Provides best in class client and candidate experience
• Understands that success is establishing the Executive Sub-Service and Talent Acquisition as “destination of choice” for clients .
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• Will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of MD and / or D searches entirely through their own efforts
• An SME in their given business area (or willing to learn) with a thorough understanding of roles and organizational structure within their client business and at competitor target organizations
• Tactically delivers on searches through channels of:
• External direct hiring
• External use of agency
• Internal mobility (in Partnership with Exec Concierge team)
• Full lifecycle recruitment including:
• Client briefing and understanding the role
• Initial targeting and selection (in partnership with Research team) to build a longlist of candidates
• Pre-screening of longlisted candidates to build a shortlist which is presented to the client
• Management of interviews (in partnership with Exec Concierge) and feedback loop between client, interview panel and candidate
• Works with the client to select a preferred candidate from shortlist and manages closing / offer process
• Partners across HR and Exec Concierge to ensure one face to the client across HRBP / Reward / Onboarding / Immigration during offer process
• Manages resignation process in partnership with the client
• Strategic client interface and account management for MD and / or D hires
• Provides portfolio view of MD and / or D hiring for client area
• In regular communication with the client on status updates including search reports and individual candidate updates
• Background in Executive Search preferred with an understanding of direct recruitment
• Credibility and gravitas to manage senior stakeholders
• Service mentality with an aspiration to “delight the client and candidate”
• Actively seeks to understand and manage client expectations
• Understands how to push back on unreasonable expectations whilst maintain a “can do” attitude
• Manages tough conversations appropriately and understands the need to deliver bad news and communicate when things are going wrong
• A leader who gets the best from their team, external agencies and partners in broader HR and client community
