-         CentOS, RedHat EL, ESXi, Debian, Redhat OCP, Windriver WCP ( desired)

-         Ability to install, build new kernels, install drivers and packages

-         Should be able to debug issues in boot , installation and packaging of new kernels

-         Should understand how to review dmesg message and troubleshoot

-         Should have the expertise to tweak the kernel, perform system level debugging

-         Independent worker and expertise in being to look through core kernel documents and advise the team on the evolution of improvements in Operating system (desired)

-         Background on Security, and should be comfortable in setting up the security in these Oss

-         Should be able to perform the hardening of the operating system based on security definitions and standards

-         Strong background on security technologies used in securing devices – 802.1AR, IDDevID etc

-         Good understanding on the use of TCG specifications related to device security and their use

-         Good hands on experience with the use of TPM and storage of security credentials.

-         Good understanding on network technology security and related standards

-         Hands on experience in the setup and use of a PKI infrastructure

-         Has a good background on NIST or related security frameworks and practical experience in their use

-         Has a clear understanding of network related security standards and frameworks with experience in applying the concepts in real networks

-         Is able to guide a team in the implementation of security components in the solution by providing expertise on the security domain

-         Experience in programming/scripting languages like Java, Go, Python.

-         CISSP Certification is desired.
