Job timings: 9am to 5.30pm Mon to Sat

Salary: Rs. 2,04,000.00 Lpa - 3,60,000.00 Lpa.

Languages: English(Mandatory), Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in academic advising or student support services
• Strong knowledge of educational programs, policies, and requirements
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with academic resources and support services
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist students in selecting appropriate courses based on their academic goals and requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' academic progress and fees collected(if payment in installments)
• Stay informed about current educational programs, policies, and requirements
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance advising skills and knowledge
• Providing counselling face to face, over the telephone, or online
• Listening to clients' concerns, empathizing with them, and helping them to see things more clearly or in a different way
• Assist in preparatory activities, such as academic scheduling and course selection
• Evaluate students on their competencies, interests and ambitions to identify suitable academic and professional pathways
• Advise students in individual or group counselling sessions to address their academic, personal and social needs
