Job Overview

We are seeking an Interior Project Engineer to join our team at Sahanas Creations, a leading interior design and architectural firm with 23+ years of experience. As an Interior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in civil engineering, or a related field
• Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in interior design or project management
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Project
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• SHOULD HAVE HANDLED OFFICE AND COMMERCIAL PROJECTS
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee interior design projects from conception to completion
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Create project schedules, budgets, and timelines
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure materials and resources are available on time
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Review and approve design plans, drawings, and specifications
• Conduct site visits to inspect the progress and quality of work
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
• Maintain documentation of project activities, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence
