Job Overview


The Transplant Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of the transplant assessment process and patient care. This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The employment type is Full-Time.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Transplant Coordinator or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of transplant assessment processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical practices in organ transplantation

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Organize and coordinate all aspects of the transplant assessment process
  • Coordinate patient discharges and ensure post-transplant care and follow-up
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Evaluate potential organ donors and communicate with transplant recipients
  • Document and maintain accurate records of transplant assessments and procedures
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the transplantation process
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize transplant outcomes
  • Stay updated with the latest transplant research and advancements in transplantation medicine
