Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registrar - OBG to join our team at Sagar Hospitals. As Registrar - OBG, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. Qualifications and Skills
- Medical degree and valid registration with the Medical Council of India
- Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Junior Registrar - OBG
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices
- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick and sound decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic tests on patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
- Perform surgical procedures, including deliveries, C-sections, and other gynecological surgeries
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care to pregnant women, monitoring their health and the health of their babies
- Evaluate and manage high-risk pregnancies, coordinating with specialists when necessary
- Give compassionate and comprehensive counseling to patients and their families regarding reproductive health
- Collaborate with other medical professionals, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons, to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
- Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development activities
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines for patient care and safety
