Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage SQL databases and database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data efficiently.
• Optimize database performance by troubleshooting slow-running queries and recommending improvements.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data migration and integration.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the database environment.
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Develop reports and dashboards using SQL-based reporting tools.
• Perform database maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and data archiving.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with data modeling, database design, and normalization principles.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
