Strong hands on experience in Node, Java and Python

Minimum of 5 years’ hands on experience in Node and Java

Expertise in modern database (SQL or NO SQL) interactions and concepts.

Strong understanding and working knowledge of networking principles: Devops operation and maintenance.

Expertise using Linux command line

Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Self-starter with excellent communication skills – This is important.

Established record working in fast paced changing environment, large scale applications across the stack

Responsibilities

Need to work with functional teams to understand their pain points and

1. build efficiencies to reduce time to market, reduce mean time to detect and mean time to resolve

2. optimize their production environments

3. triage and trouble shoot live issues

4. help identify logging issues and bad instrumentation

5. drive to align with PayPal’s best-in-class platforms
