Job Description

Well Completions & Workover Engineer

Grade M4

Purpose

Under the leadership of the Head – Completions & Workover, RJ North, the Well Completion & Workover

Engineer is responsible for Engineering & Planning of Workover Operations being carried out in RJ-Oil

North. Their role ensures seamless coordination with subsurface team, PE - rig operations team, PE Finance

Team and production operations team for enhancing rig efficiency, appropriate resource allocation, and

maximizing production.

Reporting

The Well Completions & Workover Engineer reports to the Head – Completions & Workover RJ-NORTH

Responsibilities and Duties

The key responsibilities of the Well Completions & Workover Engineer includes:

 Collaborate with subsurface teams to identify workover opportunities.

 List and prioritize workover opportunities with the Subsurface team based on well performance and well

conditions.

 Coordinate with PE – Site Operations team for mapping of resources and equipment required for planned

workover to ensure availability and timely execution.

 Ensure seamless coordination between subsurface team, rig operations team, and production operations to

maximize efficiency and production.

 Utilize digitalization tools to prepare Workover schedules in coordination with the subsurface team.

 Preparation of Annual Workover Budget in coordination with PE-Finance team.

 Month on Month budget tracking of Workover Budget and identify cost optimization measures.

 Manage Workover Associated Contracts and carry out tendering exercises for future supplies and services.

 Day to Day rig operations coordination with rig supervisors and PE-Operations Team in providing solutions

to operational issues.

 Maintain Workover data for post workover analysis and lessons learnt.

Qualifications

 Minimum of 8 years of oil field operations or well engineering experience

 Minimum of Bachelor of Engineering/Technology/Science degree in Petroleum/Mechanical

Engineering.

 Min 5 year experience in Well Intervention/Workover Optimization.

 Strong communication and presentation skills
