JOB PURPOSE

1.Uninterrupted power supply between plant & grid and to increase reliability and availability of equipment &

Transmission line.

 2. Cordination with internal plant, grid and external stake holder.

 3.Grid code compliance.

 Accountabilities

 Major Activities

Reducing Expenses

 By proper monitoring, CBM and Timely maintenance action on switchyard equipment.

By Technical skill improvement & subordinate development.

Improving Efficiency

 To ensure efficient and uninterrupted power supply to grid

 Maximizing output

lTo maximize the generation in line with BP with minimum outages of switchyard equipment and

 transmission line through proper CBM and maintenance work .

 Automation

l· Ensuring automation against all manual activity

People Development

To make training need analysis for stack holder shift engineer

 1. MAJOR CHALLENGES

 · Survival of plant during grid disturbance and Islanding.

· Handling shifts during the contingency.

 · Liaising with external stakeholder.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

· B.E / Masters (Elect), Professional Course in Management (added advantage)·

 2 - 3 years of experience switchyard equipment operation and maintenance.
