Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator to join our team at RS IT Network. As a VMC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Vertical Machining Center (VMC) to produce precision components. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is in Bangalore Rural, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience operating VMCs in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques
• Familiarity with different cutting tools and machining accessories
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot VMCs
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Vertical Machining Center (VMC) to perform machining operations on metal and plastic components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and requirements
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and other accessories for VMC operations
• Perform routine maintenance on the VMC, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Follow proper safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members, including engineers and production supervisors, to optimize machining processes and achieve production goals
