VidaXL is an international retailer brand, expanding its operations with a new office in Hyderabad, India. Our office will work closely with our headquarters in the Netherlands and our office in China to perform various e-commerce activities, including marketing, copywriting, design, back-office functions, and customer service. As we grow, we aim to support 200 employees by the end of 2024, expanding to 500 within two years. 

🎯 Your Role  

As a Tech Lead in the Order Processing domain, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our e-commerce solutions. Here’s what your role will involve: 

• Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance e-commerce solutions, focusing on PHP and Laravel.
• Software Development: Utilise technologies such as PHP, Simphony, Laravel, Node.JS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GCP, Bamboo, MySQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, JavaScript, Playwright.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on architectural decisions and address technical challenges within the Order Processing domain. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Enterprise Solution Architect and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and stay updated on industry trends.
• Specification Definition: Define OpenAPI specifications and ensure they align with company standards.
• Team Support: Mentor and support a team of developers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

💡 What You Bring  

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in software architecture, with 10 years in PHP development. Proficiency in PHP and Laravel is essential. 
• Additional Skills: Familiarity with Node.JS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GCP, Bamboo, MySQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, JavaScript, and Playwright is a plus but not mandatory. 
• Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing development teams using Agile methodologies.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.

📜 Qualifications  

• Experience: 10–12 years in software architecture, with at least 10 years of relevant PHP development experience. 
• Skills: Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and experience in leading development teams.
• Additional: High level of English proficiency and familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices is a plus.
