Job Description:  

VidaXL is seeking an experienced and passionate Tech Lead to join our ecommerce organization, specifically within the Order Processing domain. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in microservices API integrations, software development, and the ecommerce sector. This role demands exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of agile methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Solution Architecture: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable ecommerce solutions within the Order Processing domain.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Enterprise Solution Architects and crossfunctional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Technical Advisory: Act as a technical advisor, providing expert guidance on architectural decisions and addressing technical challenges within the domain.
• Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, staying uptodate with industry trends and advancements.
• API Development: Define and develop OpenAPI specifications, ensuring they align with company standards and best practices.
• Software Development: Utilize technologies such as PHP, Symphony, Laravel, Node.js, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GCP, Bamboo, MySQL, Elastic-search, RabbitMQ, JavaScript, and Playwright to develop high quality software solutions.
• Team Leadership: Support and mentor a team of developers, ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Compliance: Ensure that all solutions comply with coding standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:  

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years in software architecture, with at least 3 years of experience in an e-commerce environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in PHP, Symphony, Laravel, Node.js, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GCP, Bamboo, MySQL, Elastic-search, RabbitMQ, JavaScript, and Playwright.
• Software Architecture: Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Agile Methodology: Proven experience in leading and managing development teams using Agile frameworks.
• DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Language Proficiency: High level of proficiency in English is required.
