🎯 Your Role 

As a Senior Java Developer focused on Content Creation, you’ll be pivotal in shaping our content management and software development strategies. Here’s what your role will involve: 

• Product Information Management (PIM): Collaborate on PIM systems to enhance product data accuracy and consistency, ensuring effective content delivery across platforms. 
• Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain robust Java applications emphasising high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Solution Implementation: Implement solutions using Java and the Spring Framework (including Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security), focusing on microservices architectures.
• Database Management: Design and interact with complex NoSQL databases like MongoDB, ensuring their performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with various services and client-side applications.
• Messaging Systems: Work with Kafka and other messaging systems to ensure reliable data delivery and processing.
• Cloud Technologies: Utilise cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) for application deployment and management.
• System Optimization: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance to maintain high operational standards.
• Test Automation: Lead and contribute to test automation strategies to guarantee software quality.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Technical Expertise: 5+ years in Java development with strong knowledge of Kafka, Java, Spring Framework, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases. 
• Microservices Skills: Proficient in building and managing microservices.
• Cloud Experience: Skilled in cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) for software deployment and management.
• API Proficiency: Expertise in creating and managing REST APIs.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities.

📜 Qualifications  

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, ideally in the eCommerce sector.
• Skills: Proficient in Kafka, Java, Spring Framework (Cloud, Data, Security), MongoDB, and NoSQL databases, expertise in building and managing microservices and skilled in cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and REST API development.
• Additional: Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems (e.g., Salsify, Riversand, Akeneo, etc.), experience in test automation and debugging complex systems and excellent communication skills in English.
