Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Teaching & Academic Leadership

✔ Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and clinical demonstrations to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

✔ Guide students in pre-clinical and clinical training, ensuring hands-on exposure to real-world dentistry.

✔ Develop course curricula, assessment methods, and innovative teaching strategies.

✔ Supervise dissertations, research projects, and thesis work for postgraduate students.

✔ Conduct continuing dental education (CDE) programs, workshops, and faculty development initiatives.

2️⃣ Clinical Practice & Patient Care

✔ Provide advanced dental treatments, surgeries, and specialized procedures in the hospital’s dental department.

✔ Supervise and mentor dental residents and interns in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

✔ Collaborate with oral surgeons, orthodontists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive dental care.

✔ Ensure adherence to infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols in the dental clinic.

3️⃣ Research & Publications

✔ Conduct original research in dentistry, focusing on innovative treatments, materials, and public health impact.

✔ Publish findings in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

✔ Present research at dental conferences, symposiums, and academic forums.

✔ Mentor students and junior faculty in dental research methodology and scientific writing.

4️⃣ Administrative & Institutional Contributions

✔ Contribute to faculty meetings, institutional committees, and accreditation processes.

✔ Assist in recruitment, training, and mentorship of junior faculty and residents.

✔ Promote community outreach programs, conducting dental camps and awareness initiatives.

✔ Work with hospital administration to develop policies for improved patient care and academic excellence.
