Position: Horticulture Manager

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Take charge with supervisory responsibilities, aligning with organizational policies and applicable laws to lead and inspire a dedicated team of horticulture professionals.
• Team Management: Lead onsite execution with technical expertise, overseeing both technical and labor teams for efficient project delivery.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with consultants to bring designs to life, ensuring clarity and precision in design drawings. Thoroughly study drawings, minimizing any gaps for seamless execution.
• Pest Control and Fertilization: Demonstrate your understanding of pest control and fertilizers, contributing to the overall health and vitality of our green spaces.
• Lawn Mastery: Showcase your expertise in various aspects of lawn maintenance, including weeding, seeding, and irrigation, ensuring our outdoor spaces are vibrant and well-maintained.
• Plant Knowledge: Showcase your extensive knowledge of local and imported plants and shrubs, contributing to the aesthetic appeal of internal and external landscaping.
• Propagation and Pruning: Utilize your skills in propagating new plants through grafting, pruning plants, and trees to enhance the overall greenery.
• Disease Management: Demonstrate expertise in handling landscape diseases, providing guidance to the team for effective problem resolution.
• Financial Oversight: Take charge of RA bill preparation and vendor bill verification to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Hands-On Leadership: Be a hands-on leader, actively participating in daily horticultural tasks in exterior gardens and greenhouses, setting a high standard for your team.
• Machinery Proficiency: Display knowledge of various horticultural machinery, ensuring their effective use in landscape maintenance.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain an end-to-end coordination with clients, architects, and on-site teams, ensuring seamless execution within timelines and budget.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Graduate in BSc. Agriculture or Horticulture / Diploma in Horticulture with significant experience.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and instructions.

Experience:

• Proven experience of 8-10 years and above in horticulture management.

Additional Criteria (Mandatory):

• Professional Certification: CA certification is mandatory.
• Experience Range: 3-7 years of relevant experience.
• Location Preference: Should be based in Hyderabad.
• Corporate Exposure: A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a top 25 company.
