Job Overview:

Are you a seasoned Tech Lead with a passion for data and a knack for leadership? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Data & Reporting Domain. In this role, you'll lead the charge in designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art datalake solutions, leveraging your expertise in Google BigQuery and software development. You'll be a key player in driving innovation, guiding your team, and ensuring that our data-driven initiatives align with business goals and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge datalake solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Solution Architects and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into robust technical requirements.
• Serve as a technical advisor, offering insights and guidance on architectural decisions, best practices, and technical challenges within the domain.

1. Team Management & Mentorship:

• Support and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Ensure the team's adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements, while driving high-quality project delivery.

1. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

• Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating the latest technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Promote and implement best practices in agile working processes, ensuring the team remains responsive and adaptive to changing business needs.

1. Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project goals, challenges, and timelines.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business units, facilitating smooth collaboration and knowledge sharing.

1. Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure all solutions comply with organizational coding standards, security protocols, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of documentation, ensuring transparency and accessibility of technical processes and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience:
• At least 8 years of experience in software architecture, with a minimum of 3 years in the data domain.
• Proven expertise in Google BigQuery and ETL tools is essential. Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in development languages such as Python and R is required; knowledge of additional programming languages like PHP, Java, and Matlab is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• IaaS knowledge, specifically Google Cloud, is a must; familiarity with AWS and Azure is a plus.
• Experience with Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, and BI tools like Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI is desirable.
• Leadership & Soft Skills:
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading and managing development teams within an Agile framework.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Language Skills:
• High level of English proficiency is required.
• Additional Skills:
• Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
