An In-house Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships within the company. This role involves working closely with the sales team, product managers, and other internal departments to meet sales targets and provide a high level of customer satisfaction. The individual will focus on generating leads, nurturing prospects, and closing deals over the phone, email, or through virtual meetings, all while adhering to company sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and generate potential sales leads through various channels, including inbound inquiries, social media, and existing customer databases.
Customer Engagement: Contact and engage with leads, providing information on products/services and identifying client needs.
Sales Presentations: Conduct virtual sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by offering exceptional customer service and follow-up support.
Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs set by the sales manager or director.
Sales Process Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and client communications using CRM software.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure smooth customer acquisition and onboarding.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate terms and close sales deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product offerings and market trends to effectively sell and advise clients.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, lead generation activities, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in an in-house or B2B environment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent negotiation, closing, and objection-handling skills.
Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
