Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Assistant Payroll Manager to join our team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll management and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with payroll laws. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the motor vehicle manufacturing industry.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll management, demonstrating expertise in handling diverse payroll tasks.
- Proficiency in payroll compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (Mandatory skill).
- Strong expertise in account management and finance, essential for maintaining accurate financial records (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Payroll, crucial for efficient payroll processing and management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for performing detailed data analysis and generating reports.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements to ensure all payroll-related processes meet industry standards.
- Experience in managing Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and Provident Fund (PF) matters.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple payroll processes effectively and ensure timely completion.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire payroll process to ensure timely and accurate salary distribution.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and federal payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain detailed payroll records and prepare necessary reports for management review.
- Collaborate effectively with the finance and HR departments to synchronize payroll data.
- Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies and queries from employees promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
- Manage SAP Payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Provide ongoing training and support to junior payroll staff to enhance the efficiency of the payroll department.
