Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team at Root Catalyst. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and captivating designs that communicate our clients' brand message effectively. This is a junior-level position, ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience. This is a full-time work from office role based out of Chennai, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a creative agency or marketing firm
• Strong design portfolio showcasing your versatility and skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
• Knowledge of branding and identity design principles
• Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative design solutions
• Understanding of typography, layout, and color theory
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing and captivating designs for various marketing and branding materials, including logos, social media posts, brochures, flyers, and advertisements
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop effective design concepts and ideas
• Understand clients' brand identity and translate it into creative design solutions
• Ensure all designs are in line with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new creative techniques
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools to create high-quality design assets
• Prepare design mockups and present them to clients and stakeholders for review and feedback
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
