We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate various initiatives under the Davanagere Smart City project. The ideal candidate will have a background in urban development, infrastructure planning, or project management, with a strong understanding of smart city technologies, sustainability, and government regulations. The role involves managing multi-disciplinary teams, liaising with government agencies, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Management:Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, and define objectives for all phases of the Smart City initiatives.
- Oversee resource allocation and budget management for infrastructure, technology, and public service projects.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Stakeholder Coordination:Act as the primary point of contact between government officials, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Organize and lead meetings, provide regular progress updates, and address stakeholder concerns.
- Monitoring & Quality Assurance:Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure project standards meet or exceed specifications.
- Risk & Issue Management:Identify potential risks, manage issues proactively, and devise solutions to prevent project delays.
- Prepare and submit reports on project health, including risk assessment, resource requirements, and financial health.
- Technology Integration & Sustainability:Facilitate the integration of smart technologies
- Promote sustainable practices in line with Smart City objectives, focusing on environmental impact, energy efficiency, and social welfare.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in urban development or Smart City projects.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management and Smart City technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
