Position Overview
The Sales Counselor will assist the Sales Manager in following up on leads, guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. This role requires close coordination with the marketing team to maximize enrollments and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in refining and delivering the sales pitch, ensuring alignment with the program's target audience and value proposition.
- Engage with prospective students, answering queries, addressing concerns, and promoting the program's benefits.
- Follow up on warm and hot leads generated through marketing initiatives to drive enrollments.
- Offer limited-time discounts or scholarships to prospective students to encourage timely enrollment.
- Gather feedback and testimonials from new enrollees on the LMS and program materials in collaboration with the marketing and operations teams.
- Support the nurturing of leads who did not enroll, keeping them informed about future offerings with the marketing team's help.
- Highlight successful alumni stories from previous courses to enhance credibility during enrollment discussions.
- Participate in enrollment pitches, orientation sessions, and assist with onboarding, including sharing program schedules and LMS access details.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, cold calling and customer counseling - preferably within the education or training industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-centric approach and a strong ability to build relationships.
