Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive for our College Connect initiative. This mid-level, full-time position is based in Bengaluru and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. The candidate will be instrumental in driving our business development efforts, focusing on expanding our reach and establishing strong connections within educational institutions.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven work experience of at least four years in business development or related fields, preferably in the education or IT consulting sector.
  • Proficiency in sales with a record of exceeding targets and driving both revenue and customer growth (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals and manage contracts with various stakeholders (Mandatory skill).
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients and building lasting relationships (Mandatory skill).
  • Adept at relationship building, focusing on establishing and nurturing connections with educational institutions.
  • Experience in customer acquisition, utilizing strategic approaches to attract and retain a loyal customer base.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being an independent self-starter.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to connect with educational institutions and establish partnerships that align with company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector, focusing on increasing the company’s footprint.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in colleges and universities to promote Rooman Technologies' offerings.
  • Drive sales initiatives, meet targets, and ensure consistent growth in revenues and market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to effectively tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of educational institutions.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and develop informed business strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and reports to stakeholders to communicate business objectives and achievements.
  • Continuously monitor and manage all stages of the sales process from lead generation to closing.
