Position: Java Backend Expert

Experience Required: 8+ Years (Relevant Experience: 8 Years)

Duration: 6 months (with a possibility of extension up to 12 months based on performance)

Location: Client Office, Gurugram

Preferred Candidates: Residing in Delhi NCR and willing to travel to Gurugram

Work Timings: Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM IST

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

API Integration:

Lead the integration of APIs for web applications and SaaS products, ensuring seamless communication between systems.

Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain APIs that meet business requirements.

API Templates:

Develop and maintain scalable API templates on repositories to be utilized across the developer community.

Ensure that the templates are optimized for performance and security, and easily adaptable for various projects.

Developer Portal Integration:

Assist development teams in integrating their services with the Developer portal (Backstage), ensuring that best practices are followed.

Provide guidance and support to developers in utilizing the portal effectively.

Mono Repo Strategy:

Advise and assist development teams in transitioning to a mono repo branching strategy.

Ensure that the mono repo strategy is implemented efficiently, reducing complexity and improving collaboration across teams.

Key Requirements:

Strong expertise in Java backend development.

Proven experience in API integration with web applications or SaaS products.

Knowledge of setting up scalable API templates.

Familiarity with Developer portal integration (Backstage).

Understanding of mono repo branching strategies and ability to guide teams in adopting these strategies.
