Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Design Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing mechanical components and systems, coupled with a solid understanding of engineering principles and practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create detailed design specifications, schematics, and models for mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
• Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability standards are met.
• Problem-Solving: Identify design challenges and provide effective solutions to optimize product functionality and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and product management to ensure designs meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design reports, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices and innovative approaches into design processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA); experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulation tools is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve design issues effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification is a plus.
