Job Overview
As a Tour Consultant at R L Tours and Travels, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel and holiday packages to individuals and groups. Your role will involve creating customized itineraries, assisting clients with booking arrangements, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. With a focus on sales operations and excellent communication skills, you will help clients make informed decisions and provide them with the highest level of customer service. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fresher: Less than 1-year experience in the travel and tourism industry
- Knowledge of sales operations and customer service principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for managing bookings and itineraries
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients
- Product knowledge of popular travel destinations and attractions
- Negotiation skills to secure competitive rates from suppliers
- Ability to quickly grasp and learn about new destinations and services
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Passion for travel and a genuine interest in creating memorable experiences for clients
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create customized travel itineraries based on clients' preferences and budget
- Assist clients with booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services
- Provide recommendations on destinations, attractions, and activities based on clients' interests
- Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns during the travel process
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and travel regulations to provide accurate information to clients
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company
- Maintain records of client interactions, transactions, and payments
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet client deadlines
- Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the overall travel experience
