Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  • Record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure all financial data is properly documented and filed for auditing purposes.
  • Process and verify invoices, expense claims, and reimbursements.
  1. Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Monitor expenditures against budgeted amounts, identifying any discrepancies and providing recommendations.
  • Prepare reports on budget performance and suggest corrective actions if necessary.
  1. Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor the organization's cash flow, ensuring that sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
  • Assist with managing cash receipts and disbursements to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Prepare cash flow projections and manage working capital.
  1. Tax Compliance & Filing:
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing corporate tax returns and other required documents.
  • Assist with tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Maintain records related to tax payments and deductions.
  1. Audit & Compliance:
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial information.
  • Assist in identifying areas of financial risk or inefficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure that financial practices and policies are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  1. Financial Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare financial reports to support decision-making for management, helping to improve profitability and financial stability.
  • Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, cost-cutting measures, and other financial strategies.
  1. Vendor & Client Management:
  • Liaise with vendors and clients regarding financial matters, including payments, contracts, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments to maintain a healthy cash flow.
  • Assist in reviewing financial agreements and ensuring payment terms are met.
  1. Financial Software & Systems:
  • Use financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) to process transactions and generate reports.
  • Help implement and improve financial systems for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest software updates and financial tools to enhance financial operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Executive, Accountant, or similar role in a finance department.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting software.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA (preferred but not required).
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
