Job Description: 

Guide, lead and mentor students in research projects. Evaluate, monitor and mentor student academic progress. Create, innovate and implement career-enhancement programs and activities. Supervise and support teaching assistants. Participate in departmental and college activities.

You develop lesson plans, lead lectures, assign homework and exams, and give your students a grade at the end of the class. This career requires an extensive background in computer science. While exact requirements may vary, most employers prefer professors to hold a doctorate.
