We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Account Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage all financial operations, including invoicing, financial reporting, US compliance, and forecasting. This position requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of US financial laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasting reports at the beginning of each month, and assist in the development of budgets and financial strategies
- Generate and send invoices through QuickBooks, ensuring timely invoicing based on the status of all ongoing and completed projects
- Send payment reminders to clients, follow up on overdue payments, and address any client inquiries related to invoices and payments
- Prepare and share Profit & Loss statements at the end of each month, while creating and presenting detailed financial reports to the president and leadership team
- Ensure adherence to US financial laws and compliance requirements, staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Accurately input and maintain financial records in QuickBooks, and manage the company’s accounts payable, including processing bill payments
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with company objectives
- Support the leadership team with ad-hoc financial analysis and decision-making, maintaining organized financial records and ensuring data integrity
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably with exposure to US accounting and tax regulations
- Must be available during US business hours to collaborate with the team and address client needs
- Proficient in QuickBooks and other US accounting software
- Strong knowledge of US financial laws, tax compliance, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
