Strategy & Planning 

'- Develop and oversee the deployment of new interventions in the SCM vertical that will drive innovation in-line with Organization vision.

- Understand the revenue potential of ongoing projects and deprioritize non-essential/strategic projects/initiatives

- Keep abreast of the latest developments in supply chain practices across the industry and evaluate solutions based on business requirements 

Infrastructure 

- Designing plants and lines as per agreed upon company standards. Collaborate with quality assurance, regulatory & compliance, strategy, operations, finance and bottlers/partners/suppliers in order to secure the necessary buy-ins 

- Establish overall delivery strategy for new lines/ plants as per supply network expansion plans and work with the Bottling project managers/ Project Management Companies to ensure delivery in line with the desired specifications and timelines

- In collaboration with supply chain teams, develop scenarios to address emergencies which emerge due to unforeseen events (e.g., Logistics, component shortages etc.) and execute the contingency plans to meet delivery timelines/ alternate options to meet demand.

- Coordinate engineering activities for the project sites including facilities, layout, utilities, waste water treatment plant and process water treatment plants and automation.

- Lead co-packer/partner approval process to enable new product/category innovations. Work with Quality team to develop governance norms for co-packers in alignment with Reliance Retail standards

- Collaborate with stakeholders and  bottling teams to ensure fast scale-up of new lines at the operational level (plant, region, bottling partner), ensure sharing of successful practices across the system. 

New Product Commercialization 

- Management of product commercialization including detailed tracking of the project plan, milestones, budget and documentation

- Closely collaborate with R&D as well as Marketing teams to ensure products are aligned with all the steps in the value chain

- Align with Finance, Compliance & Packaging to ensure all regulatory compliances as well as food safety standards are adhered to before shipping of the product 

- Oversee line trials & scale-up trials to ensure that products meet the required specifications from R&D and perform testing and validation to ensure consistency before handing over for commercial operations 

Technology Implementation 

- Identify areas of opportunity to deploy latest tools & technology in alignment with the scale & complexity of the business to expedite processes, reduce manual or overhead costs, and limit chances of human error

- Conduct periodic reviews on infrastructure, equipment, feasibility analysis, risk analysis, Microbiology safety etc. to ensure agreed upon compliance standards(ex: FSSAI compliances etc.) are being met

- Formulate pilot projects for optimization of technology, standard processes & workflows ; Measure the impact & commercial applicability of the idea for replication across other categories.
