Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Department Manager to join our team in Tirupati. This full-time, mid-level role requires 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various department operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and leading a team to achieve sales targets.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in retail management or a similar role.
  • Proficient in inventory management (mandatory skill).
  • Extensive experience in sales management (mandatory skill).
  • Effective team leadership skills (mandatory skill).
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective team collaboration and customer interaction.
  • Proven management skills in handling department operations.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and perform strategic planning for department growth.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage retail operations within the department, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands and reduce holding costs.
  • Drive sales performance by setting and achieving departmental targets.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the department team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through exemplary service and issue resolution.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to adapt and strategize inventory and sales plans.
  • Coordinate with other departments and management to align departmental goals with overall company objectives.
