Job Purpose
Managing Overall Store Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing Daily Operations: Ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently by managing daily activities and addressing any issues that arise
- Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising employees. This includes scheduling shifts, providing feedback, and conducting performance appraisals
- Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving complaints
- Sales and Profitability: Developing strategies to increase sales, meet sales targets, and optimize profitability
- Inventory Management: Taking inventory, placing orders, and ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed
- Financial Management: Preparing budgets, managing expenses, and analyzing financial performance to make necessary adjustments
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring the store complies with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Reporting: Keeping track of sales, customer feedback, and other key metrics to report to higher management
