Quality Standards Systems & Assesment
- Quality Systems - Defining Quality System requirements via Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitoring quality system performance in accordance with defined SOPs through compliance checks
- Quality Audits - Coordinating and executing all Atta manufacturing facility audits through audits (internal as well as external) and tracking the audit findings till closure
- Quality Management - Monitoring and reviewing RM/ PM/ FG quality of all factories for compliance with specifications and providing regular feedback to RM/PM procurement team regarding receipt quality

- Drive implementation of digitization project across Units (which is in addition to category specific QMS implementations, by specific categories) to capture safe / unsafe practices, Quality hazard spotting, etc.
- To horizontally implement QMS for Operational stability & Execution excellence through strategizing the design blueprint, development of process workflows, testing and training/ Go Live
- Standardize documentation for quality checks & controls in digitized platform to enable consistent review & analysis across categories
- New Product Commercialization - Supporting new product commercialization by coordinating scale-up trials with factory team, providing inputs for new equipment/flow/process design, as well as issue resolution with cross functional teams
Compliance Management
--Act as interface between regulatory requirements laid out by the Govt of India (both FSSAI, LM) & the functioning of the Units in category
- Review changes / updations in regulatory requirements in the Gazette & guide the categories in terms of applicability & implications of these notifications for their processes /products
- To ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements of different affiliate locations to exporting markets.
Quality Systems & Operations
- Understand and efficiently translate the quality policies and procedures of the Company to subordinates.
- Ensure that resources required by the quality Systems are available and periodically verified.
- periodically update and verify the implementation of an effective quality system with necessary changes when needed.
- Constantly monitor standard procedures, recommend and apply changes when necessary.
- Coordinate with Material Department and Sales Department to Ensure that storage and transport standard are followed.
- Get involved with different quality improvements and cost reduction projects.
- Coordinate with Finance and Material Department on product yields and Material usage for costing and Material planning purposes.
- Plans corrective measures to minimize customer complaints and coordinates their implementation with production engineering & Material provision department.
- Coordinate with Materials and suppliers to prevent deliveries of substandard materials.
- Approve ingredients and packaging Materials on standardization basis.
- Approve suppliers based on Materials and suppliers qualifications procedures.
- Initiate and plan quality improvement programs depending on their degree of importance.
- Get involved in projects / products application in terms of process familiarization, formulation, machinery, new ingredients approval and availability.
- Coordinate with production and engineering departments to Ensure standard formulation and manufacturing procedures are strictly followed.
- Stops production operation whenever critical or major quality problems occur.
