Desired candidate profile:
Objective of the Role: To handle end to end procurement for RJ VM SAS and SIS. Candidate will also be responsible for sourcing for upcoming businesses and formats under RJ umbrella
Key Deliverables:
- Procurement Management:
- Through Central Procurement procure visual merchandising materials, props, and display fixtures that align with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards
- Participate with Central Procurement in contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality
- Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of visual merchandising materials
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain an organized inventory of visual merchandising materials, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for restocking as needed
- Implement inventory management systems to streamline the tracking and distribution of materials
- Create a swatch / sample bank of different materials and print media for RJ and YURA at office for ready reference
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to understand material requirements for various projects and campaigns
- Coordinate with store managers and the logistics team to ensure the efficient distribution and installation of visual merchandising materials
- Provide support during store setups, product launches, and promotional events by ensuring the availability of necessary materials
- Provide regular reports to senior management on visual merchandising performance and store visits
- Use insights from analysis to inform future visual merchandising strategies and improve execution
- Adhere to the budget for the respective region and send audit of budgets with reports at the end of each month to Head VM
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on procured materials to ensure they meet the brand’s standards and specifications
- Address any issues related to the quality or delivery of materials with suppliers promptly
- Ensure that all visual merchandising materials are maintained in excellent condition
- Budget Management:
- Manage the budget for visual merchandising procurement, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices
- Track expenditures and provide regular reports on procurement activities and budget status
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality
- Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain a network of reliable suppliers and vendors
- Conduct periodic evaluations of vendors to ensure ongoing quality and performance
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to facilitate favourable terms and conditions
- Trend Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in visual merchandising materials and techniques
- Incorporate new and innovative materials into visual merchandising strategies to enhance the brand’s retail presence
Primary KPIs
- Timely closure of vendor partners for each VM project in sync with Central Procurement Team
- Innovation in materials & technology to bring down cost by 10% LFL
- Identify and onboard at least 1 new VM vendor every month vetted by CPT
- Inventory Control & Replenishment of Store VM assets with 0% margin of error
- Adherence to VM budgets – Planned vs. Actual
- End to end vendor and VM team coordination
