Position – Lead - Consolidation

Reporting To – Head - Retail Consolidation

Location – RCP, Mumbai

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced candidate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience, specializing in financial consolidation, financial statements, Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS), and accounting practices.


Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the consolidation of financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS) and other regulatory requirements.
  2. Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to collect, review, and consolidate financial data in a timely manner.
  3. Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to established accounting principles and standards.
  4. Analyze intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring proper elimination and reconciliation during the consolidation process.
  5. Review subsidiary financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, addressing any discrepancies or issues as necessary.
  6. Prepare consolidation entries and adjustments to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  7. Assist in the implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the consolidation process.
  8. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and guidelines.
  9. Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing support and documentation for consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.
  10. Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  2. 4 to 6 years of experience in financial consolidation, financial statement preparation, and accounting.
  3. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS) and other relevant accounting principles and standards.
