Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fit Technician to join our team in Delhi on a full-time basis. This role involves working closely with our fashion and lifestyle division to ensure the perfect fit and quality of our garments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with measurement techniques, garment alterations, and a deep understanding of body proportions and fabrics. This position demands a meticulous eye for detail and excellent customer service skills to contribute to our unmatched shopping experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in various measurement techniques to ensure garment accuracy and consistency.
• Hands-on experience with garment alterations, including taking in or letting out seams, adjusting hemlines, and resizing garments.
• Advanced sewing skills with the ability to use both hand-sewing and sewing machine techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of body proportions and how to adjust garments accordingly for a perfect fit.
• In-depth knowledge of different types of fabric and their behavior in various alterations and fittings.
• Exceptional attention to detail to maintain high standards of garment quality and fit.
• Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with customers and understand their fitting needs.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to address and resolve fitting issues promptly and satisfactorily.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct fittings and adjustments according to customer measurements and specifications.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure that garments meet technical requirements and fit standards.
• Perform garment alterations, repairs, and adaptations with precision and within specified timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of fittings, alterations, and any special customer requests.
• Provide expert advice on fit, fabric, and garment care to customers and staff as necessary.
• Ensure quality control and consistency across all fitted garments to maintain company standards.
• Assist in the development and refinement of our fitting processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge in garment fitting and alterations.
