Job Title: Customer Data Analyst (Development Focus)
Role Description:
As a Customer Data Analyst with a development focus, you will play a critical role in leveraging our customer data analytics infrastructure, providing inputs towards its refinement, and enabling extraction of actionable insights from customer behaviour to drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with the development team to integrate data pipelines, build custom analytics models, and deliver data-driven insights that inform customer communication & merchandise planning / buying / pricing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Integration:
- Design and implement data pipelines to Integrate customer data from various sources (CRM, website analytics, app usage, etc.) ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with data analyst team to create data ingestion frameworks and APIs for seamless data flow.
- Data Analysis and Modelling:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key customer segments.
- Develop predictive models using machine learning techniques to forecast customer behaviour (e.g., churn prediction, purchase propensity, etc).
- Build custom analytics dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights for product teams.
- Data Infrastructure Development:
- Participate in the design and implementation of our data warehouse architecture.
- Develop data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Proactively identify and implement new data analysis tools and technologies to enhance capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and query writing.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python and statistical analysis packages. (Valuable Addition)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Analytical Skills:
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
- Experience with statistical analysis techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing, A/B Testing).
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (business, RRA team, marketing).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills to clearly present complex data findings to stakeholders.
