Position: Department Manager - Visual Merchandiser
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Design or Fashion Technology.
- 2-4 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in visual merchandising roles.
Skills Required:
- Innovation and Creativity: Ability to develop innovative visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and attract customers.
- Process Orientation: Strong understanding of visual merchandising processes and ability to implement efficient workflows.
- Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of retail products and their market positioning.
- Vendor Relationship Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of visual merchandising materials.
- Visual Merchandising Strategy: Proficiency in developing and executing visual merchandising plans aligned with the brand's overall marketing strategy.
- Store Layout and Fixtures: Knowledge of store layout principles and experience in designing and implementing effective fixture arrangements.
- Budget Management: Experience in managing visual merchandising budgets effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Aesthetic Sense: Keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail to create visually appealing displays.
- Photoshop/Adobe/CAD Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or CAD to create mock-ups and visual presentations.
Performance Metrics:
- Candidates who have demonstrated contributions to an increase in conversions and average ticket value through effective visual merchandising efforts.
- Ability to adapt visual merchandising initiatives to regional preferences and cultural nuances.
