Job Purpose

Overseeing the responsibilities of the assigned department in the store

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Manage the daily operations of the department, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance. This includes scheduling shifts and providing ongoing training
• Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving complaints promptly.
• Sales and Profitability: Develop and execute plans to meet sales goals and improve profitability. This includes analysing sales data and customer feedback
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels, ensure products are well-stocked and displayed, and manage stock rotation
• Financial Management: Manage department budgets, including labor and supply costs, to ensure profitability
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure the department complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Collaboration: Work with other department managers and senior leadership to improve overall store performance.
