Job Overview

We are looking for a mid-level Contract Manager for our Engineering and Construction function. The position is based in Bangalore or Chennai and is a full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and negotiating contracts, overseeing various projects, and coordinating with vendors to ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Qualifications and Skills

• Should be a graduate in B.E (Civil)
• Proven experience in contract negotiation to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Sound understanding of contract management principles and their applications.
• Strong project management skills to oversee contractual obligations and project timelines.
• Proficiency in legal documentation related to contracts and obligations.
• Experience with arbitration processes to resolve contractual disputes effectively.
• Capability to manage vendor relationships and ensure their compliance with agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to engineering and construction projects.
• Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are met as per contractual terms.
• Coordinate with legal teams to address any contract-related issues and provide resolutions.
• Liaise with project managers to ensure project plans align with contractual obligations.
