Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chattered Accountant at Assistant Manager level to join our Statutory Audit team in Bangalore. This full-time, junior-level position requires a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for audit planning, risk assessment, and ensuring internal controls are in place.

Qualifications and Skills

CA is Mandatory.

• Proven experience in audit planning, including defining the scope, objectives, and methodology to be used (Mandatory skill)
• Strong understanding of risk assessment principles to identify and evaluate threats to the business (Mandatory skill)
• In-depth knowledge of internal controls to ensure the reliability of financial reporting and compliance with laws (Mandatory skill)
• Expertise in data analysis to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
• Capability to manage a team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain team productivity
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and handle stress effectively
• Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office suite

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute statutory audits in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies accordingly
• Evaluate internal controls, identify areas of improvement, and recommend corrective actions
• Analyze financial statements and related data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage and coordinate with audit team members to ensure timely completion of audits
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and auditing practices
