As the Area Sales Manager for Fruits and Vegetables, you will be responsible for managing sales activities within your designated area. In addition to acquiring new customers (specifically retailers and sellers of fruits and vegetables), you will also oversee the coordination with third-party vendors to ensure seamless order taking and timely delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive sales growth while maintaining efficient logistics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with retailers and sellers of fruits and vegetables in the assigned area.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to facilitate order taking and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential new products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and strategies tailored to the needs of retailers.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar sales role within the fruits and vegetables industry.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in coordinating with third-party vendors for logistics and supply chain management.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed.
